E Optometry

In late 2004, E Optometry made another technological leap by being the first Bay Area Optometric practice to integrate "Wavefront Technology" data into the exam room, offering our patients the highest quality eye care available. In only 0.4 seconds, this highly sophisticated system measures the many different surfaces of your eye. It produces a map of 1440 points of the cornea compared to 360 points with previously available technology. The "Optical Path Difference” enables us to essentially triple previous refractive technologies. Higher order aberrations of the eye can be measured to determine the status of the eyes optical clarity beyond one's spectacle prescription. This system gives us the ability to measure and diagnose your vision much more thoroughly, accurately, and with precision that has never been possible before. This remarkable system provides information for contact lens fitting, spectacle prescriptions, cataract evaluations, and wavefront guided lasik analysis. Today we continue to use the latest version of this technology to provide you with the highest level of vision care.
